Just Help — is a non-profit social project from Tbilisi that provides life-saving medicines to Ukrainian refugees. It is founded by Russian-speaking volunteers from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and other countries. We are part of Sheni Team, a UK-registered NGO.
How we help
The majority of our team is made up of volunteers from Emigration for Action, a project that existed for almost 3 years and closed at the end of 2024. Just Help continues the work of EfA, and we draw on this experience in many ways.

It is important for us to continue helping responsibly and with heart. And also to unite people around the ideas of charity.
Who we are helping
Any Ukrainian in Tbilisi can contact us. Most often our beneficiaries are pensioners, women with children, disabled people and families whose relatives need special care. In a way, we are replacing their social pharmacy, because Georgian state programmes to help refugees from Ukraine lack resources.
It is not safe to return to Ukraine, where such medicines can be obtained under the Compulsory Medical Insurance (CMI). And it is not safe to move to Europe: it requires money, and people do not have it even for medicines, not to mention bureaucratic difficulties and adaptation in a country where Russian is not spoken at all. Therefore, some Ukrainians remain in Georgia.
We are in demand: 150-200 Ukrainians turn to us every month
Assistance with medication
We give Ukrainian refugees life-saving medicines (e.g. cancer treatment). We also provide what can be called harmless medical devices (e.g. nappies
for adults)
Psychological counselling
Volunteer psychologists conduct individual and group sessions for refugees
and project volunteers
Information support
We provide information
about adaptation and life in Georgia
and in other countries, about medicine
and not only.
Алгоритм помощи
1. Receiving and processing a request
The person sends us a list of medications, attaching a prescription from a doctor. We process the request, telling you what will be purchased and what we will not be able to provide.
2. Order for delivery
As soon as finances allow us, we order a supply from the pharmacy and generate enquiries.
3. Notification and issuance
When the medicines are ready to be dispensed, we will notify the person. They can now pick up their request on our opening days or ask us to deliver the medicines to their address.
